Youtube läuft nicht nach QuickPWN-Jailbreak: Lösung!

Da es momentan nur mit QuickPWN möglich ist ein Jailbreak für 2.0.2 durchzuführen und es in QuickPWN die Funktion „YouTube Fix“ nicht gibt, haben eine User das Problem das sie YouTube nicht benutzen können, da ein Verbindungs Problem erscheint.

Der User Nilbert hat auf gulli.com eine Lösung für dieses Problem gefunden, welche für 2.X aber auch für 1.X Firmwares möglich ist. Hier der auszug:

Lange hab’ ich gesucht und gebastelt. Nun will ich euch die Lösung nicht vorenthalten: Wenn nach einem Quickpwn-Jailbreak (2.02 oder darunter) Youtube nicht mehr läuft (Fehlermeldung: „You must first connect to iTunes with an Internet connection to enable YouTube.“) kann man sich wie folgt selber helfen:

- Diese Datei herunterladen und entpacken: Lockdown.zip
- Mit WinSCP in folgenden Ordner gehen: /private/var/root/Library/
- Dort den Ordner Lockdown/ löschen
- Den Ordner Lockdown/ aus der Zip-Datei dorthin kopieren
- Zugriffsrechte kontrollieren. Sollte 0644 sein
- Neustart (Respring reicht nicht)

Fertig. Nun sollte Youtube wieder funktionieren.

Ein paar User berichten das danach iTunes (aufm iPhone) und der AppStore auf Englisch sein sollten. Das könnt ihr aber einfach wieder beheben in dem ihr einfach das Handy per iTunes (aufm PC) Syncronisiert. Danach sollte alles wie gewohnt auf Deutsch sein und Funktionieren.

WinPWN 2.5 noch diese Woche

Wie wir soeben auf der Offiziellen Homepage von WinPWN erfuhren, steht Version 2.5 von WinPWN in den startlöchern und wird noch dieses Wochende erscheinen. Ein genauer Tag ist allerdings nicht bekannt.

QuickPWN GUI 2.0

Heute ist eine neue Version des Tools „QuickPWN“ erschienen. In der jetztigen Version wird auch die Version 2.0.2 untersützt.

Here is the updated QuickPwn for Windows, wrapped by Poorlad’s GUI. It contains our new bundles for 2.0.2 and we’ve added support for version 2.0 devices which means you can QuickPwn and jailbreak the device if it is running 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2.

NB: Using QuickPwn does not update the firmware itself, this tool is designed to ‘Pwn’ (the ability to install future custom non-Apple firmwares) , ‘Jailbreak’ and install Installer or Cydia on a given device. If your device is running 2.0.1 and you QuickPwn it, it’ll still be running 2.0.1, although it will now be Pwned and Jailbroken, similarly if your device is running 2.0.2 and you QuickPwn it, it will then be running 2.0.2 but the device will now be Pwned and Jailbroken. It will also activate (not unlock) devices that are being used outside of their intended territories and cannot be activated using iTunes.

If you want to update to 2.0.2 then use the normal iTunes update to get to 2.0.2 and then use QuickPwn to Pwn, Jailbreak and Activate, remember that the 2.0.2 update includes a baseband update for the 3G iPhone, so depending what your long term intentions are for the phone, update wisely, of course in the upcoming PwnageTool application you’ll be able to create a custom ipsw without the baseband update enabled.

Our Mac GUI whizzes in the team are working on a graphical Mac OS X version of QuickPwn and also adding some nice little tweaks to the next release of PwnageTool. As soon as these are finished and tested, we’ll let you know, but don’t hold your breath and refresh for these, the release is not imminent.

Jailbreak/Unlock für Firmware 2.0.2 [Windows]

Update: Eine weitere und etwas ausführlichere Anleitung finden sie HIER. Die Anleitung ist auf Englisch.

1) Ladet euch QuickPwnGUI runter (DOWNLOAD)

2) Ladet euch eine Orginal Firmware 2.0.1 runter (und speichert sie in dem QuickPwnGUI Ordner)

3) Installiert das 2.0.2 Update über iTunes (Handy dazu bitte in DFU Modus)

4) Startet die QuickPwn-Bundle-Release.exe

5) Wählt euer Produkt (iPhone/iPod Touch) aus

6) Jetzt wählt ihr die Firmware 2.0.1 aus und geht auf weiter, dann öffnet sich ein Eingabefenster und da dann einfach die restlichen Anweißungen befolgen.

7) Fertig

Jetzt habt ihr ein Jailbreak/Unlock Handy mit Firmware 2.0.2. 3G untersützt den Unlock weiterhin nicht, sondern nur den Jailbreak.

Quickpwn-Beta: Windows Tool zum schnellen Jailbreak

Mit dem Release der Windows-Beta von Quickpwn stellt das DEV-Team heute eine Software vor, die vor allem für legitime T-Mobile-Kunden von Interesse dein dürfte. Quickpwn (14MB Download-Link) kümmert sich um den Jailbreak des eigenen Gerätes, verzichtet jedoch auf den SIM-Unlock und kommt ohne einen kompletten Geräte-Restore aus. Das iPhone angeschlossen, Quickpwn ausgeführt und schon steht dem vollen Zugriff auf das Dateisystem nichts mehr im Weg.
